RBWH Foundation welcomes new CEO Jane Endacott
RBWH Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of Jane Endacott as Chief Executive Officer, commencing Monday 9 November.
With more than 25 years' leadership experience across the not-for-profit, healthcare and research sectors, Jane will lead the Foundation into its next chapter, building on a strong legacy of philanthropy, innovation and impact.
Jane succeeds Simone Garske, who has stepped down after almost eight years as CEO. During her tenure, Simone led a period of significant growth and innovation, expanding the Foundation's impact, strengthening philanthropy across Queensland and championing bold ideas that are improving healthcare for patients and families.
Among her many achievements were the launch of Australia's first hospital Giving Day, the Coronavirus Action Fund at a critical time during the pandemic, the creation of Raise it for Redcliffe Hospital, and the development of a contemporary grants program and impact framework that strengthened how the Foundation measures and communicates outcomes.
The Foundation extends its sincere thanks to Simone for her vision, passion and dedication, and for the lasting legacy she leaves across the communities, hospitals and research institutes it supports.
Jane's career includes senior leadership roles with the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, ADHD Australia, Movember and the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. She brings extensive expertise in fundraising, philanthropy and strategic partnerships, along with a strong track record of guiding organisations through growth, change and transformation.
Her experience and commitment to improving lives through philanthropy align strongly with the Foundation's mission to support better healthcare outcomes for Queenslanders.
While the Foundation enters a new chapter, its purpose remains unchanged: backing the clinicians, researchers and frontline healthcare teams whose ideas are leading to better care, breakthrough discoveries and healthier futures.
Under Jane's leadership, RBWH Foundation is well positioned to build on its momentum and continue strengthening support for healthcare innovation, research and patient care across Queensland.
