Your Will can change what’s possible

One of the most powerful ways you can support life-saving research and advance patient care is by leaving a gift in your Will. It's a decision that reflects your values—and one that will ripple forward through generations of patients, families, and medical breakthroughs.

How to Include a Gift in Your Will

If you are generously considering leaving a Gift in Will, there are a few recommended steps you can take.

1. Speak to the ones that mean the most to you.

Discuss your decision to leave a gift to the RBWH Foundation with the people that matter.

2. Seek legal advice

Let your solicitor or legal advisor know you'd like to include a gift to the RBWH Foundation.

3. Use our legal wording

We can provide suggested Gift in Will  wording to ensure your wishes are honoured exactly as you intend. Below.

4. Let us know (if you're comfortable)

Telling us about your decision allows us to thank you personally and keep you connected to the impact you're making.

This is not legal advice. We recommend you contact your legal and financial advisors.

Let your support live on.

“It makes me happy to know the work and research the hospital does will still go on, because without the means of support, they can’t continue.”

Elsy found that including a gift didn't need to be complicated — she found it easy to arrange, and it gave her real peace of mind knowing her values would live on.

Elsy being treated at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
