12 month funding period

These grants support developing research capacity among Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander health care workers and researchers. Research projects under this scheme will be related directly to improving clinical care and/clinical outcomes for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander patients. 

HOW TO APPLY - ROUND 6

Applications for the next round of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander grants open in March 2027.

STEP 1

READ THE GUIDELINES

Download and read the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Grant Application Guidelines to ensure you meet the eligibility criteria and for detailed information on completing your application.

STEP 2

PREPARE THE APPLICATION

You can use the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Grant Sample Application Form as a guide to build your grant application prior to submitting via our Good Grants platform.

STEP 3

LODGE THE APPLICATION

Submit your application via our Good Grants Platform. You will have to log in with your QLD Health email to create an account, if you don't already have one. Once you are registered as a user, you can complete and submit your grant application. You may save your application as a draft and edit it up until the submission deadline.

APPLYING ON GOOD GRANTS

Your application will be evaluated according to the RBWHF Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Grant Scoring Criteria.
