I am turning half a century old on New Year's Day. To mark this milestone, I've chosen to celebrate by supporting the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital through a fundraising campaign for the RBWH Foundation.
As some of you know, I recently fell seriously ill in October and narrowly avoided sepsis. I am deeply grateful to the incredible health professionals—the true angels—who cared for me and helped me through such a frightening ordeal.
