Rare Rabbits

It’s just over 10 years since Russell Crowe and Peter Holmes a Court took over the South Sydney Rabbitohs and pushed the team into the spotlight. This signed and framed jersey is from 2007, just over the celebrity owners stepped in and reinvigorated the flailing club. Thanks to the new investment into high calibre players such as David Kidwell and Roy Asotasi, the Rabbitohs made it to the finals in 2007 for the first time since 1989. They are Rugby League’s sentimental favourites, and this professionally presented team jersey is a must for any true fan of the game.

Cosy and colourful

Cosy up with this beautiful hand-made, crocheted blanket.  Made with love, the rug is a piece of art that could adorn your bed or couch to add colour and warmth, or you can snuggle up under it on a cold winter’s night.  Taking great skill and many hours to crochet, it is made from acrylic wool.  Kindly donated by Denese Hutchinson.

  “Moo” by Nicci Hinkfuss

Over many generations the humble cow has become a symbol of prosperity and sacredness in many ancient cultures. Quite often depicted freely roaming grass fields, the cow is regarded as friendly and kind.  In this painting by Nicci Hinkfuss, the calming subtle tones offer a fresh perspective of the humble dairy cow – quiet and still, as it looks at you ever so lovingly.  Kindly donated by the artist, Nicci Hinkfuss.
