Royal Run for Research

The 2013 Royal Run for Research is being held on Sunday 21 July, starting and finishing in the City Botanic Gardens. Entrants can participate in either the 8km run or 6km walk, and there are some great prizes to be won. This event has been organised by Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital’s Physio Department for the past 26 years and raises money for clinical research at the hospital. Register now for $30 for individuals and $70 for a family of four.
Butterfly Ball

‘Butterfly Babies’ are committed to supporting research into the life-changing, birth-related tragedies including, but not limited to, stillbirth and prematurity. The Butterfly Ball is the major fundraising gala for Butterfly Babies and it's an event not to be missed! This year it will take place on Saturday 2 November at the Sofitel Luxury Hotel from 6:30pm. The black-tie dinner will offer three delicious courses, fabulous entertainment and not-to-be missed auctions. Get in early and reserve your tickets here.
Children's Movie Day

RBWH Foundation is a partner organisation in the 2013 Children's Movie Day which aims to give disadvantaged children and their carers a fun-filled day at the movies. Sponsorship is $50 per child and surplus funds raised will be used to support medical research at RBWH which will help find new treatments and methods of detection for diseases and conditions ranging from stroke to premature birth.
